12 Day Yangtze Source to Panda Land Exploration

Upon arrival at the Three Rivers Source Reserve, proceed to the Tuotuo River Viewing Platform (the true source of the Yangtze River).

Journey to the Starry Sea of Mado (the watershed between the Yellow River and Yangtze River) for a high-altitude trek, immersing yourself in the sacred space of Tibetan "holy mountains and lakes." Pay homage to the mani stone piles along the way and witness the high-altitude sunset at dusk.

Drive to Yushu to visit the world's largest mani stone pile, the Jianamani Stone Sutra City. Join local devotees in the kora pilgrimage and prayer wheel rituals, experiencing Tibetan "stone carving intangible cultural heritage." Savor authentic butter tea.

After breakfast, proceed to the airport and depart Yushu by flight, arriving in Chengdu. After checking into the hotel, enjoy the nighttime views of the modern urban landmark Taikoo Li. Later, transfer to a hotel near the Panda Base for overnight stay, preparing for the next day's activities.

Early morning departure to the 【Giant Panda Base】. Afternoon visit to the World Heritage Site 【Dujiangyan Scenic Area】, exploring the Fish Mouth, Feisha Weir, and Bottle Mouth to experience Li Bing's world wonder of "water diversion without dams." After dinner, enjoy the 【night view of South Bridge】 at Dujiangyan.

Travel by vehicle to the Huanglong Scenic Area (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site), hike along the boardwalk to ascend, and admire the unique travertine pools, snow-capped mountains, and forest landscapes, with a focus on visiting the Five-Color Pools. In the evening, check into a highland hot spring hotel.

Spend the entire day exploring the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, and marvel at the spectacular sights of the Emerald Lakes and Cascading Waterfalls, including the Five-Colored Lake and Pearl Beach Waterfall. Take a bus to the Wolong Giant Panda Base (a flagship species habitat in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River), visit the giant pandas, and learn about their role in ecological conservation.

Enjoy a leisurely morning of free time in Chengdu. Optional Sichuan cuisine cooking experience available at noon to delve into the culture of Sichuan cuisine. Afternoon airport/train station transfer based on flight/train schedule concludes this epic journey.
